About Us
Vicki Cawthon

This website started by accident, but I am sure glad it did. It has changed my life. I never had a weight problem until my thyroid gland quit working, I had gained 50 pounds and was miserable. My son and I decided to join Weight Watchers, I have lost 42.5 pounds and my son lost 32.4, we quickly learned it is a lifestyle change and NOT a diet. I love to cook and found it a challenge to see how healthy yet still wonderful I could make a recipe. Cooking is actually my hobby and I don't find it a chore at all. But, I also realize it is not everyone's cup of tea. So the recipes vary in levels of difficulty, I even post 4 ingrediant recipes you can make in 5 minuets. I created a group on facebook to share my hobby, and give support to others it quickly grew to over 2,000 members. We recently created a new page on facebook due to group formats changing. It feel it is a great place to offer support to fellow foodies, get recipes and ideas in our busy day to day life. I still had one other issue, friends or family that are not on Facebook. After further thought to that dilemma I also realized when I have my laptop on in the kitchen preparing dinner it is rather difficult to cook and chat. That was the birth of this website, it is still an infant and will be ever changing with many hours of work from my son William Cawthon it would not be possible. We welcome your ideas too if you would like to share please like our facebook page and please enjoy!!
William Cawthon

My name is William Cawthon and as you may or may not know by now, I am Vicki's son. After going through four years of high school as an overweight teen I decided to join weight watchers with my mom. We started the week before my senior prom and that week I dropped 7 pounds. About a month later I attended my graduation party about 14 pounds lighter. My goal was to go into college a new person. When I moved into the dorms as Arizona State University, I had lost 32 pounds total and felt like a new man. The weight watcher program helped me feel better about myself and life. Vicki approached me about three months ago about this website and I thought it was a great idea. I developed everything you see on this site all for you to experience the change that I did. I hope that this site can help you in even a small amount. Please let me know what I can do to make it better.
