How many time do you hear water, water and more water! Water helps flush your body of toxins and keeps your metabolism in order. Eating too much fruit. Fruit is healthy for you and can be a valuable snack when you're losing weight; however, too much fruit means you're only adding more sugar to your diet. Balance out fruit with protein such as yogurt or milk to slow down the rate of absorption and keep you satisfied. Even as weight watchers says it is free, everything in moderation. Not eating enough fiber. Eat more whole grains to keep your appetite in check and your digestive system running at peak efficiency.
Your body burns at a high rate when your moving during the day. Try having a larger lunch and a smaller dinner. Unhealthy snacks can be a killer, those darn candies at the office or unhealthy desserts after dinner. Be aware of those BLT'S (Bites, licks and tastes) they do add up! I cook dinner almost every night and I include them in my daily points.
Make sure you're working out at least 20 to 30 minutes per day to keep your metabolism fired up, and you'll be burning calories all day long. To busy? Try 10 minutes at a time...even if its a walk at a break or cleaning out a closet! MOVE! DON'T skip meals your body needs fuel all day and regular, oddly enough just like your car.
Last but certainly not least.....A good night's rest is important for keeping your metabolism healthy so that weight loss is much, much easier. Don't skimp on sleep so you can stay healthy, strong and well rested for your daily activities. Remember 'YOU CAN DO IT" this battle my be frustrating but it is certainly attainable with these simple tips!!
